We thank you for choosing our hotel and we wish you a pleasant stay.

This directory has been created in order to help you make the best use of the facilities available within the hotel.

The purpose of this directory is to give you essential information in order to make your stay with us more comfortable.

We trust that you will enjoy our hospitality and service of our hotel, please do not hesitate to contact us, we can be of assistance during your stay with us.

Communication

Reception is available 24 hours a day. Please dial 9 for any kind of assistance. If you wish to call another room, you only need to dial the suite number.

Air conditioning

All our bedrooms are equipped with thermostatic in-room control system. The air conditioning should remain switched off while you are out.

Airport

Catania International Airport “Fontanarossa” is approximately 1 hour drive from the hotel. If you wish to book a taxi or private car with driver, please contact Reception by dialing 9.

Pets

The hotel allows you to bring small size pets in your room on request. Please inform us in advance and we will be pleased to make necessary arrangements, there will be a charge of € 20,00 per pet per day.

Babysitting

Please contact Reception by dialing 9 to organize our fully qualified babysitting service.

“Birdie” Bar

After a busy day you will have the opportunity to relax in the friendly atmosphere of our “Birdie” Bar, near the Hall, to enjoy your favorite aperitif, after dinner cocktail or tasty snack. Our bartender and his team will be delighted to welcome you and make you feel at home.

Safety Box

Your room is equipped with a security box that is absolutely free of charge. Please carefully read the instructions placed inside the safe before using it. We strongly recommend to use the suite safety box to place all your valuable items. The Hotel Management is not responsible in case of loss nor stealing.
Other safety box are available free at the Reception.

Check-out

Check-out time is at 12:00. Should you wish to extend your check-out time, please contact the Reception.
Extended check-out time is subject to availability and there may be a charge per hour.

Breakfast

Breakfast is available at our “Ghiandaia” Restaurant situated on ground floor, from 07:30 to 10:30. If you wish to have breakfast in your room please fill the breakfast card provided in the room; alternatively you may dial 833 or 9 to place your order. There is an additional charge for room service.

Beds (extra)

Depending on your room type, extra beds are on request, subject to availability and there may be a charge per day.

Luggage service and storing

Please contact the Reception if you require luggage collection. It is possible to store a limited amount of luggage at the hotel. However, please ensure that items are properly locked and labelled, don’t leave valuables in your luggage for storage as the hotel does not accept liability in the case of theft. The hotel will not accept a for long period storage.

For emergencies please contact Reception by dialling 9 who will be able to help you.

Chemist

The nearest chemist is situated in Linguaglossa in the main street, 5 minutes driving from the Hotel.
If you need any help, please ask to the reception staff in order to have the exactly opening timing and day.

Golf

You can reserve your tee time at the reception desk and have a special price for the green fee 18 holes and 9 holes reserved just for our guest. For more information, you can dial 9 from your room or ask the reception desk. For the clubs and the buggy, you should speak directly with golf caddy master Marcello.

Fire Precautions/Emergency Evacuation

An evacuation plan is located in your room. In case of fire leave your room immediately and inform Reception. Please follow the instruction of the security force if instructed. Do not use the lift.

Internet

We have internet in the whole hotel: Wi-Fi name is JSH-Hotels and no password is required.

Laundry Service

We offer a daily service for laundry and dry cleaning where items given to the reception staff before 9.00 will be returned the day after at 06:00 pm. Service is available every day, except weekends and bank holidays.
All items need to be placed in the laundry bag with the list provided.

Maintenance

It is our objective to keep the hotel facilities in a perfect technical condition; however it may happen you require assistance in your room. The hotel provides maintenance support. Kindly call Reception by dialling 9.

Minibar

You can enjoy all the drinks! Please take a note that will be a charge differ per kind of drink and
will be re-place daily.

Lost & Found

Please note that the hotel will not assume responsibility for lost or disappeared items. Items lost and found in the rooms or in the lobby or any public areas will be recorded in the lost and found book and kept in storage for a period of 3 month. If you have voluble items, please ensure that those are properly locked in the safe available in room or at the Reception.

Car Parking

We have a private car park. A fee is not required. Car left in the car parking area remains the responsibility of the owner. The hotel cannot be held responsible for any damage or theft to the car nor for loss of properties inside the car itself.

Outside swimming pool

Our staff is delighted to inform you that you can enjoy our outside swimming pool every day from 10:00 am till 07:00 pm from the June till September. The towels are provided for the outside swimming pool by the lifeguard.
We would like to remind you that the swimming hut is mandatory, if you don’t have you can buy one at the Pool Bar and Spas’ reception. Please enjoy, also, our pool bar with its snack menu. For more details don’t hesitate to contact the reception dialling 9.

Restaurant

The “Ghiandaia” restaurant, located on the ground floor, features fine regional specialities and is in its kind amongst the best in town.
The Chef Roberto and the Maitre Vincenzo along with the entire team will be pleased to offer the Sicilian specialities. Every evening you will be able to choose your preferred speciality from a rich and tempting menù.
The hotel’s restaurant is open for lunch from 12.30 to 14.30 and for dinner from 19.30 to 21.45 every day.
The lunch restaurant is situated in Club house, the building in front of us, on the 02nd floor and it is called “Palmento”. 

Housekeeping

Maria and the team of room attendants have made all arrangements in order to make your room comfortable and will be pleased to assist you with any requirement you might have with regards to extra amenities and laundry service

SPA

The SPA staff is enjoyed to welcoming in this quiet and relaxing place! Please feel free to contact them directly from your room to book a massage or time for the entrance or a treatment dialling 818. Our Wellness Center is open every day from 10:00 am till 6:00 for closing at 07:00 pm.
Brown towels are provided for the SPA. We will remind you that the entrance is always to book in advance even if is including in your room rate. If is not including there will be a fee to charge on your room bill. Swimming cup and slippers are mandatory: if you don’t have, you can buy it at the SPA reception.

Television

There are local and international channels, if you have any problem receiving any of the channels please call Reception by dialling 9.

Bellboys

The bellboys will help you with your luggage. If you should need help bringing your luggage please do not hesitate to contact Reception dialling 9.
